Ram (Sharwanand) is an athlete (runner) whose aim to win national championship. He has a single mother (Pavitra Lokesh) who works hard to make their ends meet. He falls in love with Nazeera (Nitya Menen). Just about when they are getting closer, they are separated by fate.The rest of the story is all about whether they unite or not.
Performances: Sharwanand was very much impressive in the role of Rajaram. NItya menon has delivered her career best performance as Nazeera, her character has more importance in second half and she was too good in the important scenes. Both these actors compliment each other well and have done perfect justice for their characters. Pavitra Lokesh was extremely good and natural in Hero's Mother role. Pavani Reddy who acted as heroine's friend was impressive. Punarnavi Bhoopalam and Tejaswi made their presence felt. Surya,Nazar and others were apt .
Technical Departments:
Story-Screenplay-Direction : Director Kranthi madhav has selected a simple and wafer thin story line. Screenplay is very good for the first half, though it had ups and downs in second half it holds the interest.Climax also came good. Director Was very much successful in handling all the scenes between lead pair which were the most worked out moments for the movie,also he was able to extract good work from the other departments. But rather than depending on dialogues he could have created much better/stronger situations in second half,then the impact would have been more effective,excessive dialogues made some scenes over dramatic.Overall Kranthi Madhav has done a decent job .
Other Departments: Dialogues by Sai Madhav Burra are the main plus points after the lead pair, though they went excessive at some times. Music by Gopi Sundar also worked out well for the movie, songs were apt and background score was effective. Camera work was very good with rich visuals.Editing was fine.
My Rating: 7/10
Analysis: Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju -.Has it's share of flaws like excessive dialogues and overboard of melodrama. But Lead Pair's Performance,Effective Dialogues and Music work well for the movie.
